Nicola
Owner / Stylist
Nicola Duffin, the owner, brings over 35 years of experience in the Hair and Beauty Industry. Her journey began in Liverpool, England, where she studied Cosmetology for 2 years. After gaining 5 years of experience in Liverpool, Nicola embarked on a global adventure, working as a stylist aboard cruise ships for 5 years and gaining invaluable experience with clients from around the world. Following that, she spent 2 years working at a prestigious salon in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, before venturing to open her own business.
Successfully owning and operating the original Organics Salon in Abu Dhabi for 5 years, Nicola worked with a diverse clientele comprising both locals and expatriates. In 2002, she relocated to the United States, where she continued her pursuit of excellence in the hair and beauty industry. Nicola attended the Toni & Guy Academy in London, England, and trained with their company for 10 years. This led her to work within the TIGI Company, where she quickly advanced into a management role.
In late 2004, Organics Salon opened its doors in Round Rock, Texas. The salon's continuous success and expanding clientele can be attributed to its fully equipped, well-trained, and up-to-date staff. Inspired by Aveda's mission of caring for the world, Nicola decided to embrace the Aveda rituals and beliefs, transforming Organics Salon into an Aveda Lifestyle salon. The salon aims to provide a personalized and unique experience, guided by Nicola's mantra: "To provide distinctive, quality, and unparalleled customer service, striving to earn the respect and trust of our customers and coworkers alike."
In response to high demand, a second Organics Salon was opened in May 2013 at the Stone Hill Shopping Center in Pflugerville, Texas. As the business continues to thrive, Nicola remains dedicated to her passion of delivering a world-class experience to every guest who walks through the salon's doors.

Educator / Stylist
Alyssa graduated from the Aveda institute in 2012. Since then she has been constantly striving to improve her skills as a stylist. Some of the classes she has taken include Kevin Murphy and James Morrison from Toni & Guy. She has been involved with weddings, photo shoots, fashion shows and she was a nominee for hair stylist of the year for RAW natural born artists. Alyssa has a natural talent for doing hair and is now working through our advanced program.
When Alyssa isn't working at the salon she is busy playing music with her band.
Mel
Senior Stylist
Mel graduated from the Aveda Institute in 2014. Born in Ethiopia and raised in Madison, Wisconsin she brings style and diversity to our salon family.
"My passion is working to find the right look and style for each guest that sits in my chair."
Mel also specializes in natural hair and Keratin smoothing treatments.

Christopher is an outstanding hairstylist with [well] over 20 years of professional experience, providing his services with Toni & Guy as Director of Education for Austin and facilitated education program in San Antonio as well. He is fully licensed and has numerous certifications to design and implement a look that is customized for you.
In addition to providing his services locally, he was privileged to work with the National Artistic Team and received training with the advanced academy staff on several occasions and participated in Toni & Guy Ambassador Program for 25 years.
Senaida
Senior Stylist
Senaida is Texan born and raised.
She graduated from Austin Aveda institute in spring of 2015. She entered this career to work with all walks of life, she enjoys providing new, fun, and creative looks for her clients, but also enjoys keeping it simple with enhancing natural looks. She strives to provide professional and quality work every time. On her down time she enjoys cooking, arts and crafts, and being with her family.
Brenda
Senior Stylist
Originally from Mexico City. She graduated cosmetology from Regency Beauty Institute. She also gained Olivia Romo's Make Up Artist Certificate.
Brenda's always had a passion for creativity and an eye for beauty and originality. She's versatile and loves learning, growing everyday. Her goal is to educate and make clients feel comfortable and beautiful.
At home, she enjoys fashion and spending time outdoors with her family and dogs.

Senior Stylist
Lynnette has been a licensed cosmetologist since 1996. She graduated from a Paul Mitchell Signature school before graduating high school. She is continually widening as well as educating her expertise in all hair types and has a passion for skin care. Lynnette joined the Organics team in 2021 doing hairstyling and aesthetics.
Ella
Senior Stylist
Ella became a licensed cosmetologist at 18 years old. She's approaching 9 years in the industry and joined the Organics Salon family 3+ years ago! Ella moved to Austin as a child in 1999 from her hometown in Kansas. She was raised in a world revolving around all things art and music, always knowing she would have a related career. All along the way, she's steadily gained experience ranging from editorial, bridal, special effects, music videos, fashion shows, specialty skincare, volunteering for charities, and extensive continuing education including conferences in San Diego and New Orleans.
Above all else, Ella is most passionate behind the chair when making sure every guest leaves feeling magical and empowered in themselves. Whether it's a trendy shaggy Balayage or an edgy asymmetrical bob with fire phoenix reds, each style is created completely customized by finding the looks that best represent who you are while paying precise attention to detail.
In her downtime, you can find her snuggled with her fur babies, reading in nature, doing yoga, listening to records or cooking fancy vegan food with her husband.
Maria
Senior Stylist
Originally from Miami, Florida. Maria moved to Austin, Texas in 2000. She has been in the Beauty Industry for over 30 years, and loving every minute of it. Always keeping herself updated in the latest trends in hair-cutting, balayage, and coloring techniques. She attended Vidal Sassoon hair cutting Academy and worked as a Tressa hair color educator for many years. She specializes in color corrections.
In her downtime, Maria enjoys her Zumba classes and spending time with her husband and her two daughters.

I started in this business as a young tot, at the ripe ole age of 10 years old, incidentally I learn how to edge my hair line in between haircuts my father provided, with that being said I thought I knew how to cut hair. I was thrown in to the hair industry at that moment and didn't know it. My interest grew, and along with my desire to perfect my craft. I acquired my cosmetology licenses in 1993, and been nothing but creative thus far, I'm in love with what I do, and will forever will be. Nothing is a greater pleasure than to see that smile on my clients face when I tailor a look for them. That is the Greatest reward. My masters is specialized healthy Hair, creative tailor cutting, and messy meticulous styling , which in tern gives the client easy access for styling. I'm here to serve a Great purpose.
